GOT KIDS?


This organization meets monthly to engage Gay and Lesbian
families in activities such as hiking, snowtubing, rollerskating,
bowling, dining, and other exciting indoor/outdoor activites.

Our goal is to show our children that they are not alone. That
there are other children who have families like theirs. We are
looking to create friendships and strong bonds between the
children in the group so they feel accepted and supported.

We hope to establish a strong group of parents who are willing to
share their personal experiences with members in regards to the
issues we face as alternative families and the issues our children
face on a daily basis.

Sunday July 25. 2010--- Picnic & Swim, Wawayanda State Park- Hewitt, NJ

Sunday Sept 20. 2010- Apple Picking- Masker Orchards, Warwick, NY

Saturday Oct. 23. 2010- Pumpkin Picking- Maples Farm, Middletown, NY

Saturday Nov. 20. 2010- Thanksgiving Feast - Rock Tavern, NY
             We will be having a Thanksgiving potluck feast on Saturday, NOVEMBER 20 from 2PM - 5PM
            at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Church at Rock Tavern, NY. The church is asking for a small donation for the   
            space. We will need a non-refundable check IN ADVANCE for $7 per family to help offset the cost of the space.
            PLEASE RSVP by no later than Nov 13.

Saturday December 18. 2010-  Westchester Broadway Theater in Elmsford, NY
             Saturday, December 18 @ 3pm Frosty the Snowman
            If we have a group of 15 or more the price will be $14 each (regardless of age).  If we get less
            than 15 it will be $18 each.  TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW & TEND TO GO QUICKLY.
            If you are interested please send us a check for $14 per family member attending by
            November 20.
